Friday Art Action November 29, 2005

Posted by Winter in activism, the adventures of mind the gap.

We’ll describe the events of friday evening at another point, but, for your viewing pleasure, here are the pix of the Clothes line project.

On Friday evening we held a discussion group about Violence towards women and possible ways to stop it. 12 people came (including 2 men), enjoyed cake and tea and had a really good, long discussion. Afterwards we held an impromtu clothes line project and the above photos show some of the results.

That was a great evening. Thanks a lot Naiades and Winter for doing all the orgnaising. It got off to an interesting start but I think it think it was a success in the end don’t you! Any idea what we are doing with all the clothes? I’m thinking we will have plenty to contribute to International Women’s Day if they want some exhibits!
